Select Home Warranty Deceptive sales practice, poor service, won't do what they are supposed to do Mahwah, New Jersey

 Select Home Warranty company is awful. When I spoke to them on the phone before signing up I asked very specific questions which all of the answers have turned in to lies. I have had a very bad experience.  First I filed a plumbing claim. They set up a plumber who didn't call and didnt show. Then i had a claim for air conditioning. First they set up a company to come who called 20 minutes before they were due to arrive and said we are really a plumber and don't have anyone available. Then Select told me to find a local company which I did. That tech came to my home, called for approval on $395 worth of repairs which they approved. Then they tell me they will actually only cover $150 and still have not paid that. Finally, i filed a claim for plumbing for a wax seal on a toilet and replace another part. They approved the wax seal, not the other part but wouldn't pay for the time it takes to remove and put back the toilet which is ridiculous. I have tried speaking to a manager. I spoke to one named Eli who said he would email me a contract that I signed (Which I didn't) and has never emailed that to me and now won't answer or return my calls and supposedly there is nobody above Eli who can help. Consumers should know about this and steer clear of this company.
