They don't pay their contractors without a HUGE fight, this means you could get a lien on your house.  Everything about this company is shady.  Even some of their customers are scamming the company (second fridge / microwave been broken for years etc)  Then the contractors are inflating estimates.  Every thing about this business is sickening.  Everyone is a criminal.  But the only person paying anything is the contractor.  The $45 that you give him is ALL that he will likely receive for the repair.  That means he might come after you  and put a lien against your house.

the facts are that their business plan must be  based on not paying the contractors, they are highly susceptible to people ripping THEM off.  They don't track serial numbers of appliances or care which ones your work on or seem to care what you charge.  It is IMPOSSIBLE for them to make money if they had to pay contractors.  Now if you thinking that you are going to get anything as a consumer out of this company YOU WILL NOT.  Do yourself a favor and find a trustworthy repair guy, call him when you need him.  
There ARE better home warranty companies out there, but why dont you just take that $300-400 a year and put it into an appliance repair savings account.  I bet you break even at worst without any of the hassles.
