My story is the same as all of the others i have read (unfortunately too late). I sent this online cabinet store my last dime for kitchen cabinets & like the other folks I got confirming emails etc. from their customer service dept. at first until they had my money in hand & I waited patiently until the 5 weeks lead time they gave me for shipment had passed & decided to check status of my order. I have called & emailed almost daily to no avail. No response whatsoever. I am a senior & this really was all the money I had & it just sickens me to think people can do this to someone like myself and get away with it. How is this company still allowed to do business? I have asked for a refund so that I can purchase cabinets from a legit company and still no response from this outfit. I sorely wish I would have done my homework & researched this company BEFORE sending them any money but like a fool I trusted these guys.

To the customer service specialist @ shoprtacabinets that responded to my report. Miss, I emailed as you requested on 9/19 at 11:30am to obtain status of my order as you promised to provide, I gave my order number & even referenced you by name & here we are on Tuesday 9/22 & I have yet to hear anything from anyone at shoprtacabinets! I honestly have tried numerous times to get in touch with someone via the telephone and email. I felt like I should allow the full amount of time that was indicated on the website to allow for shipment and I am in the eighth week after placing my order after which I will begin filing my claim with the Illinois A.G., FBI, Consumer protection Agency, BBB and every other agency on the list that can possibly help me

We sinceraly appologize you have had a bad experiance on our site. 

Unfortunetly we have not received any emails or phone calls from you regarding your order.

Our shipping times are 4-8 weeks from the time you placed your order and typically we dont send out "status updates" until your order has shipped. 

If you stated its been 5 weeks since you placed your order chances are your order is set to ship really soon :)
