Reade was my realtor when I was purchasing a home. The seller's agreed to make some minor repairs to the property prior to closing. Roughly 3 weeks after the sales contract was signed, the appraisal was performed. Reade text me on on that Monday stating that the appraisal was done. I replied in a text message "Did the sellers make the agreed upon repairs?" His exact rply text was "The railing was fixed, and the door was removed." As fate would have it I was in the neighborhood of the house that saturday, and drove past it. The railing had not been fixed, and the broken screen door was still in place. I sent him a picture and asked him why hadn't he told me the truth. He called me and cursed me out over the phone. "F@#$% you, and I'll tell you to your F#$%^ng face! I dropped him...of course, and completed my purchase with his broker. Nonetheless, once you've entered into writtten contract and you intend to perform Reade looks at it like he's made his money so screw you (with a smile). That's why he lied to me, because he didn't care enough to go verify the information before responding, and he gambled on the fact that if the repairs weren't completed, that they'd be done well before I came back into the neighborhood to see the house.

I'm just now seeing this load of crap Reade rebutted with.
I'll give the short version:
1) He text me notifying me that the Appraisal was conducted over that weekend
2) His text suggested that he attended the apparaisal
3) I asked "Were the stairs fixed?"
4) His reply was exactly,"The railing was fixed, and the door was removed"
5) So....when I drive past the house 3 days later, I see that the repairs weren't done.
6) I send him a picture of the stairs with the message "You didn't have to lie to me."
7) He replies with a text about as long his rebuttal above talking about everything under the sun EXCEPT... The question I asked him, and his innaccurate reply.
8) I replied via text....pretty much stating #8 above
9) Reade calls me and starts yelling and cursing at me. He ended pretty much all of his wolf-talk with "...and I'll tell you to your f***ing face!
Now does the reaction explained in #9 sound like the reaction of a person who "Made a mistake?" Does that reaction sound like a person who could've "clarified themselves better?" No, he lied to me out of pure laziness, he didn't know the status of the stairs and figured (incorrectly) that the repairs would be done before I'd be out that way again (at that time I lived 1.5 hours driving distance away from the neighborhood). He tried to s****.>
All of the events 1-10 are all true and accurate. I stand by them 1000%. I'm not one to bear false witness against anyone, and it would be foolish of me to do so against someone who knows where I live. Since he was the one who first showed me the house and got me to the ratified contratct point, why shouldn't he get a commision?

my name is c reade stewart of signature homes. ive been a realtor for over 16 years. im proud to say that ive help many customers achieve the american dream of home ownership. ive helped many sellers sell their homes and move on to the next chapter in thier lives. i love what i do. im proud of my achievements in Real estate. i practice the same ethics everyday that anyone who is priviledge to call themselves a Realtor. the things that Mr. Jackson wrote about me is unfar and hurtful.
when i met Mr. Jackson there was cause for concern. he said he was working with another agent but he did not like the agent. i will leave it at that. i never ask Mr. Jackson who the other agent was. I actually thought to myself if this was a good idea to work with what appeared to be someone who could get angry and hold a grudge. i should have listen to my natural instincts. but, my goal first and foremost is to listen and be the best real estate agent i can be.
Mr. Jackson and i spent time together going to different towns. i thought we bonded. he was a miltary guy. i had family in the military. ifound mr jackson a house. i was workimg as a buyers agent for mr. Jackson. i made what i belive was helpful suggextions. on that perticular house. things didnt pan out. we found a better house and i was there for mr jackson throughout the whole process. negoitating. meeting of the minds. helping him find an attorney. helping him find a home inspector. being present for the home inspection.
Mr. Jackson wanted to fire the attorney. again, emotions take over. his anger got in the way. i explained to Mr. Jackson that you are free to do what you want. your real estate attorney is working in your best interest. eventually he calmed down and stayed with the attorney. mr. jackson was a tough client. i think he felt compelled to test evrryone several times and at times again his anger got the best of him.
to fast forward. it was ageeed by the seller that repairs were to be done at a certain time. mr.jackson called me to see if the work was done. i checked with the listing agent to see if the repairs were done. the agent said yes. i relayed the message to mr. jackson. only to have mr. jackson txt me a few days later why did i have to lie to him. i called him on his phone. i tried having a convrrsation with him.
I should have known better thrn to try to conversation with anyone when they are angry. there was no talking to mr. jackson. at that moment he was not rational and forgot every step of the way i was on his side representing his best interest. my mistakes and there were 2. 1. i should have made sure the repairs were done myself. 2. when someone is irrational hang up and call back when that person is calm.
now i have this unfair and hurtful report on line for anyone to see. my broker spoke with mr. jackson he himself tried to get this report removed from this site. for whatever reason they wont do it. for what its worth my broker told me that mr. jackson said i did a good job and deserve my commission. with that statement, do i really deserve rhis? no. I do not.
