smart style WORST HAIR DAY EVER!!! RUINED MY HAIR. WRONG COLOR. MANY POOR EXCUSES BY STYLIST!! bluffton, Indiana

 I had  a very bad experience with Smart Style, in Bluffton Indiana. I went there with a relaxing experience in mind and left there anxiety ridden.

person was suppose to be coloring my hair a lovely blond from a brownish with gray. I had consulted with her a week before and she assured me she could do a good job. I went there yesterday a.m. to get hair colored and foiled (highlighted) I had saved money aside for awhile to be able to do this. Again she reassured me she could do a great job. after spending 2 hrs back and forth from sink to  style chair she removed the towel off my wet hair and the color was horrible. Not blonde bud a muddy reddish with brighter red tones instead of the lovely champaign blonde we had chose and was staring right down from a pix on wall by her booth. Her attitude was not good from the start but her abbrasiveness was worse. I was devastated to see the color and the look on her face.

she then proceeded to pull all kinds of reasons out of her hat why this happened. None of these possibilities were mentioned prior to this. She then decided to foil my hair as planned although I was hesitant. She said It would help and look good. Again after this it was horrible.She told me to wait a whole week and get friends opinions before coming back. I assured her I was very unhappy. I left and came home and cried . I couldn't sleep good last eve and the first thing this a.m. I saw it in the mirror and realized it was not a nightmare!

I went back to smart style this a.m. and her attitude was worse , as if it was my fault. I wasn't sure if I even wanted her to touch my hair again but did hoping she could remedy the situation. She did not. She agained put lightener on my hair and I am still devastated by the color. I just lightened the colors but  still horrible. I am so upset and embarrased to have anyone see it, Oh and I said what about the foils and she said No We Are Not Going To Do That!. I payed for the full procedure yesterday.

I came home and again cried when looking at my hair. I am afraid with all the chemicals she used it has damaged it somehow. I am also very concerned how much I am going to have to save and how long to get my hair back to a pleasant color.

I contacted the 800# on smart style website and they were nice enough. The solution was a gift card to SMART STYLE for the amount I paid to have my hair done. My reply was Oh, Please No. I don't ever want to go thru this again. I don't know if any legal actions can be taken because I have never had a situation like this before but want to check into it. I am so depressed over this! What truely Bad Hair Days!
