Social Security Administration Maximus, Inc., Ticket to Work This Progra ,Can Cause You to Lose Your Supplimental Security Insurance Benefits PO Box 1433, Virginia

After I was hurt in a non-compensated, on-the-job accident and the employer closed shop and left the state, it was a year before I could see a physician and that is when I learned that osteoarthritis had spread into both knees and lower back. I wanted to go back to work but could not my extremely demanding high-risk, armed private security job again which I had managed to do for 20 years. 

I had no employment prospects, as this is 2002 when the dot. com bust was wiping out all of the jobs here. I put in for Social Security temporary disability payments until maybe I could patch myself back together long enough to go to work doing something because, then, as now, there were NO JOBS.

My initial claim was rejected. I filed two appeals on the computer like I was told by them to do and, oops, they must have got lost. I never heard back from them, They claimed they had never gotten them.

I had to move in with  a relative who suddenly developed the heart disease that runs in our family. He was hospitalized from the Emergency Room three times and the physicians in the follow-up clinic turned in his application for Social Security Disability. He had cardiologists and certified, trained medical specialists vouching for him and full documentation of his medical disability. He was denied.  The attending physician filed for his Social Security Disability again telling him that if he did not stop working his stressful and physically active privater security patrol  officer job. He went to the woman who was managing the patrol section of the company where he was working and requested a transfer. She denied him the transfer AND GAVE HIM THE DEATH SENTENCE. He did not want to have a heart attack and endanger others because his job involved driving a patrol vehicle to a lot of different places in the night! And that is how he DIED --BEHIND THE WHEEL OF A PATROL VEHICLE THAT CRASHED INTO A TREE WHEN HE HAD HIS MASSIVE, UNEXPECTED HEART ATTACK--THE ONE THAT KILLED HIM. As only a cousin, I had no right under Texas Workers Compensation to sue and he had no Will. He was only 50 but had outlived both his mother and father.
Now, we have sudden burial expense!

Ironically, a day after his death, we receive a DENIAL of claim from Social Security Administration and they can GO TO HELL as far as the sensitivity and timing and the good that they did for him. If I had not given up my burial plot, he would still be in the ice box at the Medical Examiners Office.

Now, it is 2009 and I am 3/4s of the way through school but my grant money is running out and I cannot afford property taxes. I am also having to settle his unpaid bills and not getting much help from the family.  I have been trying to get a job to no avail and they are having fist fights for the day labor jobs. I can't even get  job as a cleaning man or as a dishwasher or busboy because there are 10 to 15 people applying for each job! WHen I apply for a Paralegal job they tell me that I have no experience and that I am overqualified. IT IS AN AGE DISCRIMINATION THING!JOBS IF

AND HERE, BECAUSE AUSTIN IS A SANCTUARY CITY, UNDOCUMENTED ALIENS ARE COMPETING WITH US CITIZENS AND BRINGING THE WAGES DOWN AND GETTING ALL THE JOBS AND MAKING SURE ONLY THEIR FRIENDS AND FAMILY MEMBERS GET THE WORK IF THERE ARE ANY VACANCIES THAT COME UP ON THE JOB. THEY WILL CALL ICE TO GET SOMEBODY DEPORTED IF A FRIEND OR FAMILY MEMBER NEEDS THAT JOB. NICE FOLKS, THESE ILLEGALES.

Out of hope and nearly out of money, I saw a friend at the Texas Worksource Center and she tells me that she retained an attorney to help her with Social Security Disability, and the attorney was able to get it for her --$1,025 a month which is more than what I have now. She said that you have to give your attorney a percentage of what you would have been paid had you received your Social Security Disability income and I said, " Well, it's more than I have now which is nothing." So I didn't mind paying because I NOT TRUST GOVERNMENTAL AGENCIES AND ONLY DEALT WITH THEM BECAUSE ECONOMICS FORCED ME TO DO IT.

I called my Congressperson and the staff there got my denial claim from Social Security reopened and I ended up getting an attorney to represent me at that point. I could feel the HATE from the Social Security people that I had managed to challenge them.

I even had to go to apply for FOOD STAMPS and there is NOTHING worse than applying for FOOD STAMPS ( SNAP, or, in TEXAS THE LONE STAR CARD which is a computer card they give you and they use it to track your purchases!). I am sitting there in front of some La Raza Unida former student radical who must not hate this country too much since she is working for it to try and keep you from getting food stamps. YOU ARE SCUM. YOU ARE A NON-PERSON TO HAVE TO COME AND BEG FROM US. WE KNOW YOU ARE REALLY A CRIMINAL, A NO GOOD WHO IS GOING TO BURN IN HELL BECAUSE YOU CAN NOT FIND A JOB AND YOU ARE POOR.

Lady, if I had been able to find ANY kind of work, I would never have been in here to see you! But we are in one of the WORST ECONOMIC DEPRESSIONS --call it like it is-- since the 1930s since the repeal of the legislation designed to prevent another 1930s style Depressions which happened when CLINTON was President and Bush-Cheney Neo-Cons didn't help it any, giving bailout money to all of their cronies in the banking and financial sectors and NO HELP for businesses to create jobs.

I was given $200 a month in emergency food stamp assistance. It kept me from being hungry and I could cook it on the grill since there was no electricity since I was injured.

Eventually, the lawyer fought an uphill battle for me and managed to get me $647 a month in SSI and Medicaid which I prefer to Medicare since any medical program for Senior Citizens is going to be connected to the DEATH PANEL/ LIFE REVIEW aka health review as a result of the new Health Care legislation  -- the same as the 1933 German Healthcare Act commonly known as the FINAL SOLUTION.

Do you think I am going to be using ANY kind of Government Health Care plan? Would you if you knew that you were going to be tracked and at risk of being euthanized
solely on the basis of your age, race, weight, gender, ethnicity, a chronic disability  and anything else some n**i bureaucrat does not like about you? l
I thought assisted suicide was illegal but it seems it will be OK for the government to dispose of YOU!

And when the Food Stamp people found out I was getting SSI income, they CUT my food stamps to $58 a MONTH! A gallon of milk here is $5 - $6 on sale! What about all of this "healthy, organic food" that they want you to buy with those food stamps. I guess they ar saving them for the liberal elite in Washington D.C. who say that because we are too obese, they re going to be eating all of the food and we can fight for the crumbs.

The cravat to receiving the SSI is something called your TICKET TO WORK AND SELF-SUFFICIENCY. You get it in the mail and it is a five by eight piece of light tag board paper. I felt like it was from Hitler telling me that I was going to have to register as a (((REDACTED LANGUAGE))) in n**i Germany. I needed this when I was hurt in 2002 and maybe I wouldn't have lost my landline telephone, my electric power and my car!

On the card: " This ticket is issued to you by the Social Security Administration under the Ticket to Work and Self-Sufficiency Program. If you want help in returning to work or going to work for the first time, you may offer this ticket to an Employment Network of your choosing or take it to your State vocational rehabilitation agency for services. If you choose an Employment Network and it agrees o take your ticket, or if you choose your State agency and you qualify for services, these providers can offer you services to help you go back to work."

Er, how are these people going to help me find a job if I haven't been able to find steady, reliable, permanent employment since 2002??? If it had been up to them, I would have starved in the street as it was a cousin who took me in!!!!

And where is this miracle job going to come from and am I only going to have it long enough to get me kicked off SSI and food stamps altogether?????

" An Employment Network provides the services at no cost to you. The Social Security Administration will pay the Employment Network if you assign your ticket to it, and the Employment Network helps you go to work and complies with other requirements of the Program. An Employment Network serving under the Program has agreed to abide by the rules and regulations of the Program under the terms of the agreement with the Social Security Administration for providing services under the Program. Your State agency can tell you about its rules for getting services. "

Like the Paralegal associates degree  the State was supposed to help me get but the junior college never offered the classes I needed in the correct sequence so time was up and I was unable to complete the degree on time. And get a job WHERE? There are NO jobs in any profession here unless you are a friend or a family member of someone who is connected. Nepotism, you bet! Unfair, well, that's just how it is here and in other Third World countries. Going to want to see where this goes and to make sure that I get the point, they have a brochure to go with THE TICKET.

I can't help but notice one provisio of the Program that might have slipped by.

"HOW DOES PARTICIPATING IN THE TICKET PROGRAM AFFECT MEDIAL REVIEWS OF MY DISABILITY?

"We ordinarily review your medical condition from time to time to see if you are till disabled. ( You mean, there is a miracle cure for osteoarthritis? Maybe they have a direct line to God that He can cure this? I knew the government had a reputation for being illogical but THIS???)If we find that you are no longer disabld, we may stop your benefits. ( Is there some intimidation here?)

"If you are participating in the Ticket program and making timely progress pursuing your return to work plan, we will not conduct a review of your medical condition. We will send you more information about these requirements after you get your Ticket to an employment network or sign a plan with a state vocational rehabilitation agency."

Medical review/Death Panel Review/Quality of Life Review sounds rather intimidating to me

"No, the Ticket program is voluntary. If you decided that you are not interested in using your Ticket, or that you are not able to work, you do not have to take part. If you decide not to use the Ticket, it will have no effect on your disability benefits. However, you should keep the Ticket we sent you in case you change your mind and decide to take part in the program."

If only it didn't remind me of  TRAIN TICKET to Auschwitcz!

So who and what is Maximus,Inc. the INTERNATIONAL megacorporation that manages this TICKET TO WORK PROGRAM FOR THE GOVERNMENT APPARENTLY SINCE 2008?

THAT IS GOING TO BE THE SUBJECT OF ANOTHER RIP OFF REPORT SINCE I NEED TO DOUBLECHECK MY RESEARCH.
