My name is Adrian and I have a debt of $5200 dollars. I called them about a year ago to settle my debts and make a payment plan and Robert Weaver did not want to hear it what so ever. He told me in the rudest terms, to either pay it all off or nothing. He then continued to say "I'm sick and tired of you people thinking you can run up a debt and not have to pay it back on our terms." He was ridiculing me for not having the exact amount of 5200.00 to pay at that moment, as if I was some poor imbecile. After that I was confused on how to settle my debt and contacted Careone debt consolidation agency and they told me I could consolidate my debts into one and pay it off within 3 to 4 years. After numerous calls from Robert Weaver I finally answered his call to give him the benefit of the doubt, thinking maybe he was just having a bad day the previous time I spoke with him. But no, he was even more obnoxious and out of line then before. I asked for a payment plan and he said that it would take me 10 years and that I wasn't serious about paying it off, even though I was the one to give them my new address and phone number. He continued to keep asking me "what do u got" over and over? Which I did not know how to respond to. Then he stated I was not serious and hung up on me. Robert Weaver stated that nobody has the right to settle any of my accounts but them in a very intimidating way. He told me not even a lawyer can touch it. I get treated like this every time, what do I do??

Here's what you tell him the next time he calls

Just tell him that you are filing BANKRUPTCY and now he gets NOTHING.

Then tell him not to communicate with you anymore, and that you have recorded the call.

After all, Bankruptcy may be your best bet. Think about it, $5200 would take you 52 months at $100 per month principle only!

I think the most they can [or will] put you on a payment plan for is 4 years in most cases.

It is best to stay off the phone with third party debt collectors. Only communicate in writing, even if only by email so you have a record of everything that has been said or agreed to.

File an FTC complaint for the rude [illegal] behavior.

Good luck!

If this jack a**  spoke to me that way I would of hung up on him and after too many calls from him you should of sent a stop contact letter certified but keep a copy to your self

What ever you do do not give anybank imformation to a collection agency they cannot be trusted. If you pay send money orders
