I contacted this company via the internet, seeking assistance with repossessing a personal vehicle. I received a contract via fax, which included a fee of $350, name of person with property and copy of title proving ownership. After a week passed with no communication, I called te number and inquired about an update and was told that the dispatcher assigned to my case will contact me within 2 hours. After no contact, I called again the next day and was told that my assigned dispatcher would call me back in a matter of minutes. I called back after a couple of hours and was told that they can't help me because I keep calling for updates and he then abruptly hung up the phone. I was never contacted by anyone during the entire process and when I called the line after he ended the call, it went directly into a recorded message. I contacted my bank and cancelled my account. These people are scum

We never ask for banking information

AUTHOR: Speedy Repo - (Canada)

POSTED: Thursday, March 14, 2013

If a customer asks us to repossess a vehicle that is over 10 model years old we require they fax us a hold harmless with credit card information, so we know that we will get paid. Too many times buy here pay here car lots ask us to repossess a 1994 Ford Taurus and then refuse to pay for the repossession. They state that, "They just didn't want the debtor to have the car". That does not compensate us for our time, gasoline, tow trucks, employees or insurance.

This customer was told that we required them to fax us a copy of the title along with our completed hold harmless including their credit card information. They faxed us the documents several times leaving the credit card information blank. We explained to them on several phone calls that we would not accept the repossession assignment without it.

We are happy to keep any of our customers updated with our progress on their repossession assignment. This individual was not a customer because they refused to complete our required hold harmless. We had not accepted their repossession assignment. There was no update to give.
