SPIRIT AIRLINES Spirit Airlines charges credit card incessantly and claims fine print in agreement allows Internet

Spirit Airlines urges people to sign up for the Spirit Airlines Club.  The fine print in the agreement allows Spirit to charge your credit card perpetually for $39.95 for a so-called membership.  Trying to cancel the Spirit Airlines Club is deliberately difficulty and appears to be a scam. Spirit's representative compared the Spirit Airlines Club to her experience with Bally's fitness center.  She said that she signed up for it, didn't read the fine print, but had to keep paying even though she did not like Bally's.

Spirit Airlines service is very poor, but you get what you pay for.  Spirit is sadly a modern day Greyhound Bus.  If you are desperate for the lowest price and don't mind long "cattle call" lines and poor treatment, Spirit is for you.  Steer clear of the Spirit membership program though, unless you want to pay for it forever.
