Spirit Airlines AVOID THESE CHARACTERS AT ALL COSTS OR IT WILL COST!!! Utah UTAH

I want to be fair. I also want to report an actual experience in hopes that I can prevent another from repeating my past decision of choosing....spirit. 

I purchased online through www.cheapair.com and perhaps I got what I paid for; a cheap fligh with all the trimmings of a cheap flight-crew. My bags: 1 over night and 1 camera back-pack. With no advanced WARNING, I was charged $50.00 per bag each way. These fees were in addition to my main ticket. 

On board:

Nothing is free or a courtesy; not even a cup of water. I asked and I was denied with an apologetic smile. But she was certainly a cutie from the republica dominicana! Man, was she hot! But she still denied me a cup (yes 1 cup) of water. 

Food:

Forget it! Next question?

IN FLIGHT PROMOS:

An annoucement was made. "We have a promotion for the month of January."  A thin but shapely blonde took to the microphone. "We are offereing FREE  frequent flyer miles!" She continued. "If you apply for our MASTERCARD you will recieve 2500 frequent flier miles that never expier and you can use (the miles) however you want." Then she directed all that wanted in on the promo to raise their hands. My hand went up. Fastforward to tonight (April 29th, 2014) when I wanted to take them up on their claims and book a flight somewhere for relaxation. SUCKER!!! No, not you, me!  I'm the sucker! And I am trying to prevent you from becoming a sucker as to believing ANYTHING spirit airlines has to say or offer. Choose another carrier!

Conclusion:

While air travel remains the #1 choice most people opt to use when traveling, we still need to be vigilant of the hidden costs, tricks and or traps associated when flying the so-called friendly skies. Let's face it, we become extremely vulnerable to these schemes when scurrying about through an airport. From baggage to soft-drinks, food or water, prices have truly skyrocketed. More, flight attendants are pressured to lean on passengers for any nickle or dime they can squeeze out of them while in the air; perhaps a common practice to simply stay in business. Granted September 11, 2001 was a terrible tragedy But we shouldn't have to brunt the costs.
