Sprint PCS Was not informed at time of being added to other account that if I wanted to get my own account that I could possibly loose my number. I had number before entering with company. They didn't assign me a number. I've had number since 2004. Medical, business, personal all in that phone. They have locked phone that I purchased with my money. Had nothing to do with account holder. Atlanta, Georgia Nationwide

 Feb. 19, 2016 To whom it may concern: I just wanted to share this information with others out there so that this unpleasant experience that I had with sprint will never happen again. The fiasco all started on Feb. 6, 2016. But initially the problem began back in Aug. 2009. My phone line was added to the individuals that was the account holder thru Sprint. I was not informed nor did I verbally or in writing agree to the terms that I was made aware of after the fact. First of all you can not hold an individual accountable for something that they had no knowledge of. I was made aware AFTER the fact that if you are added to someone else's account that if things change or you so choose to set up an account under your own name that you run the risk of not being able to keep same number. And that you have to have the permission of the other party by going into the Sprint store to fill out a change of ownership paperwork. That's giving the account holder too much power! If an individual credit is approved I think it's only fair to let them stand on their own merits. When I entered into the agreement of being added on individuals account I already had an existing phone with my OWN number that was PORTED over to Sprint. Therefore I'm having a hard time fathoming how you're being Sprint is going to call possession of something that they never owned!!! Unimaginable how they can think that those types of actions are appropriate. Let me reiterate again that I've had that number since 2004. Now Sprint is adamant about not giving me my number back. And to add insult to injury my iPhone that was purchased with my money has now been locked by Sprint. I am livid at such actions. WHO DOES THAT??? I explained to Sprint everything that I'm explaining to you and it ALL fell on deaf ears. But the larger picture is that ALL my pertinent information is listed in that phone. I've been the caregiver and POA for my mom who has Alzheimer's since 2009. Therefore, with that all being said ALL of my moms medical information,my business information all in that phone that BELONGS to me that I've paid for. I have suffered a tremendous lost due to this mishandling of a situation. Sprint does not have ANY compassion in this matter. I have suffered a substantial financial loss behind this. I have not been able to run business as usual due to no phone coverage. Again I worked feverishly on Feb 8,2016 to the tune of 123 minutes on the phone with Sprint to no avail. I spoke to several department trying to get matter resolved. I even asked to be transferred to their legal dept with the hopes of getting this done expeditiously so that I could get my business back up and running. I spoke with a Cl.atherine Deveaux in Sprints legal department and she too was no help at all. What kind of business is this that holds backs some possibly very damaging information so that their customers can make some intelligent decisions as far as their phone services are concern. Now I want everyone out there to know that Sprint does not have your back. They leave the added on individuals in perilous situation with their lack of information. End of story. Therefore it is my hopes that this matter will be investigated thoroughly and I will be made whole again by having my number restored. Had I been informed of potential trouble I would have never ventured down that path. I also would like to be compensated for my lost of income due to no phone service. Last but not lest I failed to inform you that in order to rectify matter I had to purchase a new phone and spend monies that I had not planned since I already own a functioning iPhone. Please help me to resolve this matter and make me whole again. I've asked Sprint to show me copy of where was made aware of those terms.
