Square Trade Scam trade Sold worthless cell phone insurance San Francisco California

May 22,2017 I bought a cell phone off eBay and bought at the same time a insurance policy, didn't clearly disclose what they would not cover or cover just assumed they covered like other square trade warranties in the past I have had. A month ago started having cell data issues, worked fine in wifi but no cell data. With total wireless we trouble shot the phone had an issue. Sent in for warranty, denied , said third party software installed.

We didn't, they said any software was not covered. I talked to Samsung on this S7, in telling them the issues they doubted third party was installed and said they would warranty it since it was still less than a year after activation. Pretty sad when insurance I paid for with exclusions in small print wouldn't cover but Samsung stepped up and covered. I have bought plenty of square trade warranties in past, never again, want the public to see this Allstate owned company is a fraud.
