Shady Dealings at Star Nissan,

I bought a 2000 Chevy Blazer at Star Nissan in 2003. I was having car trouble with my old Chevy but was confident with purchasing a Blazer again. I spoke to a sales person by the name of Jim. Jim was a nice and friendly person with no sales pressures what so ever. He made me feel comfortable and I trusted Jim's advice on purchasing a Blazer if the old one was such a good buy. I had to find a car/truck quickly because I need to get to my job and back. I finally decided on a price that was affordable to my financial needs. I spoke to Jim and he handed me a contract that was 25% interest rates. He mentioned that it was because of my credit score I had to start with a high interest rate. He also mentioned that it would drop to a normal rate in a few months after I made several payments. This was my first dealer car purchase I have made I was confided with Jim and believed what he told me. After a few months went by I decided to call the financing company and asked them to change my rate to a normal rate. They told me that was not possible the 25% rate was in the contract and I have to pay this amount for the car. I was also told that they have never heard of refinancing a car in a few months. I then called Jim at Star Nissan and never received a call back. I realized then that I had been taken for a sucker!!

I have contacted the finance company several time in order to reduce my over the top 25% rate they will not change my rate at this time. It's been two years since I have begun my process and I'm still fighting with the company. My advice does not trust a car sales person ever!! They are there to take your money and tie you into a 25% interest rate loan with a finance company. If I would have read other letters in the rip-off report then I would have gone some where else. The car dealership people are crooked and so is the finance company. STAY AWAY!!!
