Straight Talk Wireless Wal Mart Phone Won't Work...NO REFUND! Miami Florida

 Ordered a phone for my son on straighttalk wireless.com. The ordering process requires that you enter the zip code where the phone will be used most. I entered all appropriate info and received the phone 5 days later.  Upon trying to activate the phone via their website and over another phone, I received a message that the phone will not work in our area...What was the purpose of entering the zip code to begin the ordering process if the product will not work where we live???

I was informed by their overseas customer service reps that I should send the phone back. I had misplaced the sheet that had the return address for the phone and contacted their CS via e-mail to obtain the address. I was informed that because it was an Android phone, they cannot refund me (WHY!?) Also, the service card (the PIN with which you add service time to the phone) is also not refundable.

So...They essentially took my money while giving me a product and a service that is 100% useless, and of ZERO value. I believe that this constitutes fraud if not outright theft.

In addition: I have another Straight Talk phone and faced other difficulties getting it activated and found there service in getting my issues resolved to be enormously time-consuming and aggravating...in short: The WORST customer service I have ever experienced... The savings are not worth it...go elsewhere for your phone service.
