i saw pool pump on their website and called their 800 number. i talked to a man named Scott and asked if they accepted money orders and he said yes. he told me to print the order form off of their website and mail it along with the money order. he said that they would send the pump as soon as the money order cleared the bank. i waited two weeks and called. they said they never recieved the money order. the money order was a US postal money order.
i contacted the post office and they sent me a copy of the cashed money order. it was cashed at the tri counties bank in chico, ca. i called and asked if this was their bank and he said yes. i asked for my money back or store credit for future purchases. again he said ok but with approval by jeff yurtin. the money order was dated may 12, 2008. my son used his credit card and purchased the pump on-line and had no problems. i am just trying to get my money order amount back.
jeff yurtin is a dishonest man. he is never there. he also owns a swimming pool building company and he is never there, either.i have left my contact info many times and have heard nothing. the even hired a secretary to screen all my calls (busy, out to lunch, on another line, leave a message) it has been almost a year. i contacted the bbb (too late) and found out they have a rating of F. i will never get my money back, but maybe someone will read these reports before they do business with this jerk.

You must have the wrong company as we accept mastercard, visa and discover at this time. If you sent in a check then you should have record of what account and who cashed it. Then you can sue them! But with NO order number and some BS online will get you nowhere...
Oh, and we do not bank with Tri Counties in Chico...nice guess though....also for your information Jeff is in the office three times a week, he has other business ventures and has employees to handle complaints. Ray is a piece of work!!! Ray will not put his last name on here will he...jerk!
