October 2011, purchased 2010 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport from Texas Direct Auto. Texas Direct uses AutoCheck via Ebay to ensure their vehicles are par. I made an attempt to trade the vehicle at an auto dealership and they performed a Carfax. Carfax reported FIRE DAMAGE 8/17/2011. To this day, Texas Direct Auto denies the allegation and believes it is incorrect input on the Carfax report and states they are researching the issue.

They asked for 48 hours to rectify this misunderstanding. We have exceeded this timeframe. Call them, leave voicemail, good luck getting a call back. The GM Frank Carranza has been cordial on the phone when I pursued him vigorously via repeated phone calls and voicemails. He then gave me his cell number but we continue to play cat and mouse over this issue.

The customer service after the sale to clean up this issue has been by far DEPLORABLE. This company advertises over $500 million a year in sales, but they did not protect my best interest by seeling me a vehicle with FIRE DAMAGE. I would advise any future customers to CarFax their purchase from this dealership in conjunction with their AutoCheck via Ebay.

Selling a vehicle with FIRE DAMAGE and not disclosing, spend an extra $34 bucks and dont screw your customers. This is the greatest form of DECEPTION and GROSS NEGLIGENCE. Upon initial inspection when picking up the vehicle, I noticed discrepencies to the left side of vehicle and now it all makes sense. CAVEAT EMPTOR, let the buyer beware.
