I was looking for a reasonable computer for my daughter and came across a Dell 1525 and made an offer on it because the guy said he was leaving to go into the military.  Well, to my amazement (at the time), he accepted my offer.  He emailed the next day and asked if I could send a money order overnighted since he was leaving that weekend to go to boot camp.  Well, of course, I did and a few days later he emailed and said that the computer had been returned to him as undeliverable, so could I verify my address.  I did and then two days later, he emailed saying he had sent it by USPS and gave me a tracking number.  I couldn't get the tracking number to bring anything up, so emailed back asking him to recheck the tracking number.  Of course, that was two weeks ago and I never heard from him again.  In the meantime, I was checking different things and talking to my friends about it.  One of them checked on line and that was when we found all the reports on this site, with stories sounding exactly like mine. 

I think it is ridiculous that this person is making a living off of ripping people off.  He needs to be stopped.  I plan to file a report with the police and do whatever I can to put this to an end.
