Ticket Galaxy Over-charged tickets to Blue Man Group by $40. and then added service fees of 23.37 to the ticket as well. Internet

   In searching for shows in Chicago, i found the Blue Man group listed on the Theatre in Chicago site and clicked on the link to purchase tickets.  There were two choices on the site, Ticketmaster and then Buy Premium Ticket.  I do not purchase ticket often online, so I chose the Buy Premium Tickets.

   I was prompted to choose seats per charges and then processed the purchase.  The website does state:  "We are a resale marketplace, not the ticket seller. Prices are set by third-party sellers and may be above face value."  What they do not make clear is HOW much they charge above face value.

   I was then informed of the charges applied to each ticket, tickets priced $40 above the cost of the actual ticket, plus service charges of $23.37 in addition to the higher ticket price.  Total amount overspent on each ticket:  $63.67.  Original price of tickets if I had purchased them at TicketMaster:  $69.00.  Which were the exact tickets I was sent to print off--listing $69. as the price of the ticket.

   I would like to warn anyone who wishes to purchase tickets that they do not use this so-called premium ticket service.  I made an error and I was in a rush to purchase the tickets and in the future I will go directly to the venue to purchase tickets.  That I bought the equivalent of another set of tickets given the fees and over-priced tickets just about ruins the effect of my excitement of finally seeing the Blue Man Group.  Please be advised.  Don't be in a rush, shop around for the truly best price.  I don't need an answer from anyone.  I know I made a mistake in using this ridiculous "service."
