Tiger Direct ripoff! dishonest! misleading! very upsetting Miami Florida

I bought a sony laptop last year from them. First of all, it took them forever to get it to me with no apology whatsoever for late delivery and the order is incomplete because I don't get a certificate for the 2 year warranty I also paid for. Then when I get the laptop, found out I can't make backup disks (doesn't come with one; you have to do it yourself).

Complained about that to sony. They informed me they'd discontinued the line so warranty not valid. Called tiger direct, they say it is. Later discovered that the reason I couldn't make backup discs is that my dvd+r drive doesn't burn. Cant claim warranty from sony, tiger direct isn't forthcoming.

Stuck in the middle with a fancy laptop that doesn't burn cd's or dvd's, and no evidence I have a 2 year warranty on it!
