On November 1st 2014 I took my 2014 Nissan Altime that had not even 7000 mies on it for its 1st oil change. I had a coupon for 19.99 for an oil change and tire rotation, the guy checkin me in informed me my car need synthetic oil not conventional and my 19.99 coupon was gonna be instead 47.00. I agreed since that is what they said. When I picked up my car it did not look like tires were rotated. I figured maybe since was new car they did not feel it needed it otherwise they would've done the tire rotation. On December 13 I noticed a noise from from front of car. I pop the hood and notice there is NO oil in the car.
I call Tire Kingdom and they say don't drive the car have it towed, I am 2 miles from shop and who knows how long there was no oil in it? I pull in they quickly came out to me. They put new "premium oil in it and replaced the oil filter and said they could see where the oil came out. They said I would need a new motor on my new car! They said they would handle. I wanted to take back to dealer for 2nd opinion. Dealer said car was STILL losing oil and oil filter was STILL not on tight and had oil on it. Repair estimate 5500.00 to 7000.00! Tire Kingdom is acknowleding they are at fault and "saying" they will pay for repairs. I am without a car now not to mention feeling beyond angry that this in NO WAY shouldve happened 2x!

Have You EVER Heard of Checking Your Oil???

Lets see if I have this right...You take the car in for an oil change and they recommend what they call "synthetic" oil. I don't expect you to know this but at just $47 for their version of "synthetic" oil, you were ripped off. What they probably sold you was Mobil or some other version. Real synthetic motor oil costs more than $47! Not only that, if indeed they used Mobil, that oil has a history of damaging seals. Additionally, for real synthetic motor oil you will need an excellent oil filter. For such a real synthetic oil change such as with Amsoil, the cost would be around $100 and very much worth it. Anyway, you get this oil change and as per what you did not say, you didn't bother to check your oil before you left their shop. In fact, you didn't even bother to check your oil for A MONTH AND A HALF!!! If you would have, then you would have seen the level dropping and/or oil seepage on the filter. Alot of time has passed. They could make as their case "the oil filter did loosen over this time period and therefore they are not responsible. You make an incredible yet dumb statement to the effect, who knows how long the engine has been without oil. You sure as hell didn't because you failed to check your own oil as a smart consumer should have done.
