 Purchased a Toshiba Satellite approximately 1 year ago and have nothing but problems. Now it is completely fried. Laptop was sent back 1 month after purchase for power problems as in "would not power on"..kind of vital to using a computer. Received it back fixed. Ac adapter stopped working, body is separating, and is now completely dead. Toshiba customer service clearly not interested, they just send you to links for "troubleshooting". And then the inevitable, your warranty is up. Thanks for the junk Toshiba.....what used to be reputable is now disposable trash.

Pat Maloy Don't buy the warranty! They sold me a 5 year free replacement and they have been trying to repair the 58 LED Toshiba for over a month now.
