Need to rent a One Way

I started out calling for pricing "zero" help quoted me one price and I did not bite. Got a call from the regonal rental office for Michigan, they quoted me a little cheaper.

I went on line a few days later and found a good price and took it. It was one way to Pensacola Fl. 10 minutes from Gulf Breeze. Realized a few days later that I needed a bigger trailer. I call in to corporate for a bigger trailer. Talked to a young lady about the change very helpful.

Went to pick up the Trailer at the Fenton Mi. location to complete the contract. Very nice staff very helpful. I stated I was going to Gulf Breeze Fl. he printed off a list of locations in pensacola and Gulf Breeze to drop. Sweet

Everything was fine on the trip down I dropped the trailer off in Gulf Breeze and went about my business.
 
5 days later I notice a $153.00 Dollar charge on My credit card from UHAUL. I call.

Their explaination was I dropped off at the wrong location and I signed a contract for Pensacola 10 minutes away. 

At no point in this entire process was I told that a fee would be charged for dropping off at the Gulf breeze location. (Fenton Printed me a list of locations including Gulf Breeze)

I went round and round with corporate and they said the following:

Your contract was done with us and Fenton did not have the right to send you to gulf breeze.

You have to take it up with fenton. Fenton will have to pay you back. Right... Typical corporate Bullsh*t.

"We wash our hands of you. take it up with the 10 dollar an hour guy that could give two sh*ts."

$153.00 for a 10 minutes difference on a $ 400 dollar rental (Criminal) 


As I explainded to lisa and her boss in Alabama that had I known that it was not the acceptable location I would have drove it 10 minutes to the other side of the bridge.

They say they have no way of knowing at the drop location if you are in the right drop or not.

Bullshit ... just down right criminal.

I would buy a trailer to move before I ever rent from these pricks... hell I would walk there .

BE Very carefull this was a very good bait and switch,  they do a great job of pointing fingers at their locations  

Again 10 minutes apart.
