USAA Insurance My car insurance cancelled because my mother died USA Arizona

First of all I will have to say that my insurance rates have been low and overall I was happy with this so called "Military" family insurance. However when I wanted to see about how I could have my brother get the same insurance they asked him some questions and asked if my mother and father were still married. When he replied "my mother has passed away" they immediately told me we were not eligable for insurance now even though my SON is fighting in IRAQ...and my step dad is still a military veteran. He put us on through the network..however they don't count backward for my son and since my mother is dead....we are not eligable for "military" insurance anymore because my step dad is not married to her.


I believe that USAA falsely represents themselves as a military family insurance company...and they want to now become a banking institution etc.

When a person gets their car insurance cancelled for their mother being dead and while their son is fighting in Iraq....I dont' think this qualified you as a military familiy? go figure.
