I responded to an on-line offering for an Alaska Cruise at a very low cost. After discussing the low cost cabins that were offered, and finding that they were located low down in the hull of the ship, I asked the representative, London Bradley, to send me a proposal for two cabins on a high deck of the ship.
I explained that two members of my party suffered from mild claustophobia and it was important to locate us on a high deck.

I receive an offer of suitable cabins on "the verandah deck, which is deck 6". This contract offer I accepted, and as time was fairly short I paid in full the amount requested of US$6573.88.

When I received the confirmation by email I discovered that it read, "your cabin may be located on any deck of the ship".

I immediately phoned to express my concern that the contract was not fulfilled as promised. I was offered no adjustments or correction of any sort, so I cancelled the deal. London Bradley was discharged by Vac.to go, I suppose due to this boched deal.

I received a refund from Holland America of half my money. I was advise by Vactogo that it might take a few weeks to get the balance. Eight months later I was told no refund would be made.

Full Refund Promised Within 3 Weeks

AUTHOR: Miles - (Canada)

POSTED: Friday, March 02, 2007

I received a telephonecall from Vacations To Go today saying that the CEO had responded to my request to adjudicate my case, and a cheque for full refund will be in the mail in a few days.

I am very pleased, and will book my next cruise through Vacations to Go to express my appreciation for the integrity of the Chief Executive Officer Mr Fox.

My impression of the company has completely changed from bad to good, as a result of his action. Even though it took 9 months to reach this outcome.
