In addition, this is fraud because, even if you have to buy insurance when you purchase the phone, the phone is brand new unless Verizon is merchandising used phones.  You should not have to buy insurance when the phone is brand new.  This is deceit and a rip off by Verizon.   When you get a warranty for a year, the phone lasts a year and a week.  If you have to get insurance because there is no warranty, then obviously the consumer cannot be charged for something that's supposed to last at least 5 to 10 years.   Another abomination by Verizon is that the phone will not even come on anymore!  I can't even use the phone to set an alarm or tell the time.   Harm that has resulted:  I find I have purchased a Blackberry for $150 that became worthless in only 4 months!   And the merchant will not fix the phone, refund my money nor provide me with another Blackberry.  I paid all that money and now I cannot call overseas and cannot take photos as the phone is worthless!!  What a fraud!!  - Rocky Drakehttp://nextaxpro.multiply.com/" target="_self">https://www.consumeraffairs.com/complaint/submit/test/

Verizon Wireless is a fraud.  I bought a Blackberry in January, 2011 and it broke on May 2011!  The customer rep said "we don't fix phones".  I explained that Verizon is responsible for fixing phones because of the expense and they have a one year warranty.  The rep said "you have to buy insurance on the phone".  When I wrote the CEO explaining that you do not have to buy insurance on a phone any more than you have to buy insurance on a loaf of bread that one purchases at the store, a rep called and said "you have to have insurance on it".  Verizon Wireless refused to fix my phone or pay the FED EX fee to mail it to RIM to have it fixed.  I have never had a CEO refuse to do any thing for me before.

VERIZON WIRELESS PRACTICES DECEPTION OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC AND ALL ITS CUSTOMERS:
When my contract was up, the battery supplied to Verizon Wireless by Kyocera died.  I took the phone to the outlet requesting a replacement battery in order to use the phone which I have paid for to see my stored lists, tell time and set the alarm.  I have that right.  Id purchased the phone from Verizon Wireless.  The rep stated that the battery is no longer manufactured. This is UNACCEPTABLE!  Verizon has the responsibility to store the necessary parts to provide customer satisfaction.  Furthermore, Verizon is never to refuse to repair any of its phones.  Verizon has the responsibility, as any business has, to maintain parts and repair all phones and parts.  Verizon cannot get away with selling trash, then refusing service in saying "we do not repair".  This is carpetbagging.  Verizon refuses to repair, then the manufacturer is bankrupt and the manufacturer says they can't repair.

WHAT ABOMINABLE VERIZON WIRELESS must do to make restitution to me in order to be removed from ripoff report:
- RETRIEVE all phone numbers I had stored in the phone.
- UNLOCK my Blackberry and retrieve and develop all my pictures which I cannot get to because, following installation of a sub battery, Verizon wireless software demanded a passcode!
- Write a check to me for $15000 for all their EVIL EVIL OVERCHARGES..
- From here on, service ALL cell fone problems and disorders and glitches, et al, on the spot.
- Fix my Kyocera phone and my Blackberry phone.  The Blackberry phone a spokesman for the CEO blamed me!!!!!
- All voicemails on ALL phones sold by Verizon are to indicate the date and the time the call came in.  
- One free international call duration one hour.  Verizon cut me off at the airport and never refunded my money .
- One tiny charge if any charge for each picture e-mailed.  Per picture!!  Verizon is charging for every e-mail address inputted!!  This is piracy!!!  Verizon never warns the public nor their clients of this lowdown deceptive practice.  Don't say "read the fine print" {!!!}.  This deception is imoral, evil, heinous and is an abominable practice.  To Verizon, the public is to bleed white.  There is no service evil to be provided.  Potential customers are to lied to, then sucked blood dry.
- All rock noise in kiosks, outlets, stores, outlets owned, leased and rented by Verizon is to cease forthwith.   Verizon is to be VERY ACTIVE in the fight against satan worship.

Until these reasonable demands are met, this report on Verizon wireless will remain on record.  -Rocky

Misses the entire point of everything.  You must READ what I have said.  Furthermore, you are insincere in that you have not offered to make Verizon Wireless make restitution.  You should also find out how I can contact Research in Motion.  My expose` made it very clear that VZ and RIMM are two separate companies.  That's one of my points.  If I buy a burger off your burger stand, you cannot say "I don't make redress.  The cow was raised by someone else".  You have to replace my spoiled burger or give my money back.  VZ refused to do either.  Just because VZ "does not fix phones" does not get them off the hook {good pun, Rock}.  VZ must make good by refunding my money or replacing my phone.

If you do not quote the King James Bible, I will pray for you.  Ye must be born again!  Repent and believe today.   And owe no man anything but to love one another:  Romans 13:8.  This is the very first time I have written a CEO and received NO satisfaction.  I wrote the CEO of VZ and he had one of his secretaries or assistants call me back.  But, representing the CEO, she offered no redress.   Hence, VZ must suffer the consequences for being a THIEF.  In the Old Testament, VZ would be stoned to death.

As for the insurance, I never claimed that I had to buy the insurance.  VZ offered the insurance, which is abomination, if you will study closely my exposes`.  If I sell you a burger from my restaurant, I cannot say "we do not refund if your burger causes you food poisoning.  You may buy an insurance policy just in case my burger does poison you".   I cannot do that.  Similarly, VZ CANNOT do that.  It is fraud.  VZ advertises the phone as if they manufacture the Blackberry.  VZ does not.  Similarly, I did not raise, slaughter, pack, freeze nor ship the cow to my restaurant.  I cannot charge you an insurance premium, thereby fraudulently making you pay for your food poisoning.  That is fraud.  Similarly, VZ is a fraud in asking you to pay insurance premiums.  An additional evil is that the phone was brand new { although I have my doubts;  I believe VZ is selling worn out phones as new just as all the other telecommunications companies have been doing for years}, yet VZ expects you to pay insurance premiums on a phone that is brand new!!!
     I believe it would be in your best interest to ask all your friends, loved ones, peers, acquaintances, etc, to contact me and ask me to give them seminars on conscience, fraud, insurance fraud, what fraud really is, how we get stolen from daily in our lives, what we must do and any one of many, many subjects I am able to teach.  My price is high but my expenses are light.

That's the conclusion of updated classic 'The Pink Swastika' .  It's a book that has been shunned by libraries.

A widely circulated German publication, "Defilement of Race," laid out the plan:

Dietrich Hutton, the author of that screed, explained Nazis saw Judaism as the source of the wider problem that involved all the world's Christians, too.






"The way in which Christianity is directed in the interests of world Jewry and its attitude toward Judaism is traceable to the undeniable fact that the founders and proclaimers of the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth were full-blooded Jews," he wrote. "It cannot therefore be coincidence, or negligence or ignorance that consciously makes Christians deviate from the fundamental tenets of conservating nationality and cultivating race. The reason for this is to defile non-Jewish races, weaken and destroy them so that Judaism, as the 'chosen people,' can [erect] a world sovereignty on the ruins of the non-Jewish races, which Christianity has destroyed."
"You will never look at Nazism or homosexuality the same way again after reading 'The Pink Swastika,'" concludes Farah.

Already, only a few days after introducing this new edition of the book into the WND Superstore, Farah says homosexual bloggers and commentators have taken notice and "are pulling out the long knives of invective and abuse."

"They say this book has been discredited," Farah says. "But I've read the book and I've read all the criticism. The book more than stands up to all the attacks I've seen, most of which are completely baseless."

I think it is important that you realize that Verizon Wireless is a separate company from Blackberry. Verizon gives you the service to use the device you choose to purchase. The manufacture creates the phone to work on the network. Verizon is one of the few companies to honor the manufactures warranty within their stores.

Next this biblical reference you keep on stating throughout your post is not needed. I have my biblical beliefs and never would use it in the terms you do. That is my personal opinion and not one of Verizon Wireless.

We will go back to focusing on the issue at hand. We can all be adults and figure things out without hiding behind terms or religious views. You have a blackberry that has a charging port that is loose. The mini USB port is not known as a port that fails to often. Is it possible that it could? Well of course it is.

You are never forced to purchase a insurance policy. It is recommended with smartphones but it is up to the consumer to determine if it is a need that they need to cover. Each phone sold comes with a one year manufacture warranty that is honored if there is a mechanical failure. Anything outside this is covered with insurance, customer own equipment, full retail pricing or purchasing a certified pre-owned device.

While there are many options to replace your phone I believe with your post and the energy you placed in this post that you feel that the charging port has failed on you. You are upset that others are not listening to your concern. If I was in the same situation I would feel the same way. Verizon Wireless does not want upset customers for something that is an easy fix. If your phone has no physical damage or liquid damage and the port is loose (not completely removed from the phone) and within a year of purchase I invite you to contact me.

I apologize that RIM has not returned your calls either. You have to realize that a consumer that leaves messages like your post is not the most desirable to keep. You get more with positive actions. Again this is my opinion and not Verizon Wireless. If you quote biblical words then you need to look at it as a whole. Treat your neighbors as you want to be treated and turn your cheek.

Now back to Verizon again. If you feel that your phone has no physical damage and no liquid damage and you are within a year from purchase then I would like you to contact me. Just know I am not going to yell and call you out for anything. I believe that the customer is truly the center and key component to Verizon's success. You're a liar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   I did not break the phone.  I already explained the RIMM phone sold to me by Verizon was a hunk of junk.  I already explained that it lasted only 4 months.
   If you were sincere, you would make restitution to me for your lies and slander!!  At the very least, you would buy a battery for me on eBay as I also pointed out that I can't even turn the blackberry on.  The thing is worse than worthless as the pics I snapped are gone and I can't make any calls, much less the int'l calls I was promised by Verizon.
   Get off your rock noise, TV, marijuana and sodomy, you f****t!  Repent!! Turn or burn and make restitution to me.  Put your money where your mouth is.  you LIED LIED LIED when you said a hunk of junk not honoring the warranty by Verizon, etc, was not a ripoff!  You are the stupidest moron on the planet or the biggest LIAR LIAR LIAR or both, probably both.   Maybe you're an apologist for ripoff telecommunications companies.

Just where did I lie?  You broke your phone.  The charging port is loose, which means you forced your charger into the port, making it come lose.  Those are the FACTS per your own words!

I'm done responding to you anyway.  Your last response was something I would expect from a 5 year old.  Own up to the fact that you broke your phone, you were mad because it wasn't covered under warranty, so now you chose to blame everyone but yourself.  Grow up and take responsibility for your actions.  I'm done with this report.  CASE CLOSED.

You are the delusional one.



The included warranty is for ONE YEAR!.  Every phone carries a 1 year manufacturer warranty.  Any physical damage, INCLUDING A DAMAGED CHARING PORT is not covered under warranty.  You have Asurion insurcance, fine.  Call Asurion and file a claim, pay the deductable and you will get a replacement phone. 



Also, it sounds like you didn't read your warranty when you purchased your phone and read the insurance information.  You broke your phone, pay the deductable and be done with it.  Don't blame VZW for your carelessness with your phone.

You obviously did not read my expose of VZ at all.  Also, a cell phone, which includes Blackberries, is expected to last.  I had to go back to an old VZ phone I've had for 6.5 years.  The warranty is supposed to be included - you are paying for one - and insurance is a fraud as, when a phone is brand new, the idiots are supposed to replace it when it breaks down within 5 years.  Mine  broke down in 4 months.  As explained, the plug in was so junky, it broke in only 4 months.  Total ripoff, piracy and fraud.  Be zealous therefore and repent.  don't be a phoney.  If you think VZ is so great, give me a new Blackberry since VZ won't and Blackberry NEVER answers myinquiries.

First of all, you are NOT REQUIRED to purchase insurance when you buy a phone.  Every phone comes with a 1 year manufacturer warranty that covers manufacturer defects.  The insurance is just that, an insurance policy.  It covers things the warranty will not, such as lost or stolen, physical damage or water damage. The fact that they would not replace your Blackberry tells me that you had physical damage of some sort and the warranty wouldn't apply.

Also, cell phones ARE NOT expected to last 5-10 years.  Get real.  Cell phones are pretty much disposable nowadays lasting probably 2 years at best. 

I need more information about your problem, like what exactly is the problem with the phone.  If it was a manufacturers defect and outside the 1 year warranty and you do not have insurance, you are not entitled to a replacement.  And you will not get a "new" phone as a replacement.  You would get a refurbished phone.  It's in your warranty policy, and no you don't deserve a new one.

same home town I just paid early termaition just to never have Verizon again,

the late is that you do not need the home phone and have fios number great they just one more rip-off by Verizon just go ask even the manager can not tell you. well there buddy just show up every Saturday you can and as people there opinion of your deal as you wait hours to get waited on. than just start over they not even remember you till the 4th time talking to you also  it great to get there 5 min before closing holidays the best and go over the same issues over and over.
