Ok My story started on september when I was planing to buy a tablet that can access the internet for my patients in home health. So I chose verizon, when I walk in the store I spoke with a sales person and he said that he has a good deal with the tablet samsung 7, I told him that I am not interested in buying it if there is a contract. ( I showed him my cell phone that is under metro pcs with no contract and that I emphasized to him that I abhor contracts.) then he said that's ok you are just going to pay your bill on a month to month basis.

The tablet that I purchased was ok when I used it, but after 2-3 weeks it was not working, I called them and I asked them if they issued me a refurbished they say it could be or it could be not, but one thing is for sure, they will replaced it but they can't guarantee if its brand new, as long as it is working fine and that was it that they have to commit to me. So after 3 weeks of waiting for my tablet that I used for busines and I thought I've loss $20,000.00 for that 3 weeks of not having my tablet,  then I received it and it was good again.

between April and may I tried to cancel my account in verizon and to my surprise they told me that I cannot cancel it because I was under contract and that I have to pay for it for an extra $381.00  I felt so deceived on that day that I told them that I don't want to make business with them anymore.

So I did not pay any contract attachment on my bill because I believed it was the right thing to do. The bad thing is that this people are genius they just have place your name under delinquent and the colection agency will just take care of everything for them, and then it will be a bad record on your file, and this is also the result that I was not approved when I was applying for a loan.

I have no Idea how many people were decieved in this type of modus operandi, making you believe that you don't have the contract but then it was attached in you.

Contract.....

If you signed without reading the information in front of you, then whos fault is that?? Its not the person who was assisting you. You were signing your name on paperwork. You may have a FIRM no contract issue, but everytime I have gone with no contract I didnt have to sign atleast five times, so why would you have to? You had to know something was up when you had to sign a second time. That should have been a red flag to you. This is why I am saying you are misrepresenting the truth. There are always three sides to any issue. Your side, thier side and the truth. Your story has you being victimized by a salesperson and a corporation. Yes I believe you when you say you belive in a NO CONTRACT existance but given how much paperwork you would have had to sign and how much information you had to give, how could you NOT know you were signing a contract. This tells me that you were not paying attention, you were NOT reading what you were signing, and that you just wanted your tablet and to get out of there. None of that was on Verizon. That was on you.

All Im saying is given the price of tablets, dont you think its kinda rediculous to sit there and claim ignorance of a contract. The process hasnt changed in quite awhile. They take every bit of information and make you sign physical and digital copies multiple times for a contract. No contract all they want is your name. If youre so adamant about no contract then you would be very familiar with most No contract sales. This means you had a great idea how no contract works and should have been alerted and alarmed by how many hoops they had you going through for your tablet. That would mean you either didnt care enough to examine what you were signing or that you knew that this was fraud on your part.

Dont you think that since you are posting on a website that doesnt remove posts, that you should atleast BE HONEST about your part in it? I mean really, you had a equal part in it, but by reading your post you make yourself out to be a victim of the big bad corporation. Who is only trying to collect what is rightfully thiers. A little more honesty on your part really wouldnt hurt your case.

And nope!! I dont work for Verizon. But I will call tripe when I see it.

I want to see what contract I did signed

@ TYG "You must be affiliated with verizon are you?" Don't worry I am already requesting the contract that I allegedly signed with the company if there was, they say 10 days After that, and only after that I see my allegedly signed contract that I will pay Verizon's Jack up price contract. Which I believe is an oppresion and lynching of small time consumers.

Here is my answer to you one by one TYG and hope you will digest them properly.

"Tablets cost MONEY!!!!!! How exactly did you expect to get a$400-$900 tablet without either paying for it or signing a contract.

It was a firm no to silly contract when I  bought the tablet because I had a discount from my company  and it was 20-35%, so when I got the tablet it was really a good price that's because of my company discount and not because of the contract and when it was broke down that I thought It was a refurbished. (no wonder it was a good deal)

Those guys are trained to explain everything to you.

If they were trained to explained everything to me, why did I ended up with a contract then?

MANY ppl CLAIM ignorance but you had to SIGN multiple times.

Yes I signed multiple times on the receipt that I paid for that I am aware of, but not with a stupid contract.

Both a physical copy and a digital copy. So for you to sit there and LIE like that just shows that you knew you were in a contract

So what is the logical thing to do if you know that you are going to pay $15-35/month for 20 months with internet access or just rather pay 381.00 for ETF

Of course you will just be coerce in following your contract, but not me. My principle is firm. "NO CONTRACT MY FRIEND"

How foolish to judge someone with out paying attention to the details!!!

but your gonna play games so you dont have to pay the ETF.

Don't you know the feeling of being disapprove because you have a hanging balance that you're not even supposed to pay! If for you this a game, you are mistaken my friend, this is all about life!

Hopefully people who read this will not judge you as CHEAP!!!

What is the deal that Verizon gave you when you bought the tabliet? For example, was there any discount?
