I received a velour robe from my husband from Victoria's secret in early December. I mailed it back the next day. It is now the end of January and Victoria's Secret will not (a) acknowledge that they received my package (b) do anything to help me and (c) will not process an exchange. I have contacted them via telephone and email and they WILL NOT do anything! I thought I was safe doing business with them because they are a big company. Do not let this fool you too. When I went to my local post office to file paperwork on this package my postmaster told me that another woman had been in that same day to file a claim against this company because they are not processing her return either. Her purchase was sent back in October. The Victoria's Secret company needs to be investigated.

#3 Consumer Suggestion
Did you ensure your package or make sure it was traceable?

Do you know for sure that the package made it to where it was supposed to be going? Did you pay for insurance on the package or use a service that allowed tracking? If not, there is no way you can be sure it made it to where it was meant to be.
It says plainly on the website "If you are returning from outside the U.S. or choose not to use the pre-addressed return label, please send your package via a prepaid, insured, traceable method to the appropriate address below."

Victoria's Secret doesn't just "lose items

Victoria's Secret doesn't just "lose items". Why would they want to keep your robe and your money? I don't think they're that poor of a company. There's either 2 reasons they "didn't acknowledge your return". Either you didn't get a delivery confirmation when you went to the post office and sent the item back (which on the return form states clearly you pay for your own return postage) or the post office actually lost the package.
If you had that information stating who signed for it at what time and day, they would have processed it. (and if you gave them that info & they still said no, call back and speak to a supervisor, you have all the info you need) But if you're filing a claim w/ the post office, then probably the post office did lose the package.
If Victoria's Secret recieved the package, the post office wouldn't do anything, they would have done their part. They wouldn't be filing a claim at that part. Just giving you an fyi

They like to deny unemployment benefits too!!

I worked for Victoria's Secret Direct (Located at 5959 Bigger Rd, in Kettering, Ohio) from August of '05 til April of '06.
I had some of the best stats an employee there could have had, and I even won rewards for doing my job well. I won a monthly award there for selling the most credit cards. I recieved a paper award and a pen for my great job. LOL
All of a sudden a few months ago, a supervisor named Tom Y. started picking on me for no reason. He came by me one day while I was working asked me if I was awake. I told him yes, I had been all day. He laughed at me and walked away. He then wrote me up for being asleep on the job. I had 2 employees who sat next to me tell our supervisor and our manager about this. Since there were witnesses they had to drop this write up.
After that, he was definately out for me. He had me written up again by saying I had been rude to a client. What happens is, they have these forms called Client Feedback forms. On them, you write down client information and their complaint. Anyone there has access to both the forms and the client information and could write any story they want to get some other employee in trouble or written up. I know that they were falsely writing up these forms in order to get me fired.
Finally, I was fired on April 24th, 2006. I filed for unemployment and it was denied because Victoria's Secret is fighting the unemployment (after there was a meeting with managers and supervisors to get this guy to leave me alone, they bs'd me and were protecting him) and will not pay me what I deserve. They lied to the state saying I was fired because I was rude to clients. I was not rude to clients, I was a victim of discrimination, and I was fired just because a supervisor did not like me.
I hope Victoria's Secret burns in h**l. First they make you work like a dog for crap pay, then they fire you for no reason and refuse to pay unemployment. I am sick and need insurance, but they do not care.
I URGE EVERYONE to boycott Victoria's Secret, do not buy from them!! Even if you are just a customer, they will do as the above and never send your product. They also have Programs called Home and Escapes that will charge $100 to your credit card if you forget to cancel. They say you will recieve a free trial. You will never recieve it. As an employee, I was supposed to get the program free, I worked there for about 8 months and never recieved it. It is a con!
