The Video Professor ads boasts of offering free instructional disks to try. Nowhere in their advertising or disclaimers is it stated that after a short time, your credit card is charged the full amount of the program. Further, nowhere in their advertising does it state that if not notified, additional disks will be sent and your credit card charged.
I purchased one of their instructional disks as a gift for a friend. I had no intention of purchasing further disks. Had I known that this was not an actual free offer, but a subscription scam, I would have thought twice. Once I found out, I returned the second disk that was sent to me for a full refund. At least they did that much with no argument. At least with the record-of-the-month clubs you're told up front of your obligation.
Please let others know of Video Professor's "generous" offer.
