Tread softly and use caution with this company VROOM. They are an automobile purchaser that I was going through. While processing information online on their website, I made it very clear and a note that the vehicle I was selling was not drivable. After they sent me an offer, I accepted and they sent documents online to process.

I sent in my vehicle title and after a few days there was no response. They stated that they would receive title in 24 hours. A few days went by and no response. I sent an email and then I just happened to get an email from them at the same time stating the title was received. They stated that the paperwork is being processed. I get no information on how long all of this will take.

First act of incompetence and I call the company to speak with a rep. that says the process of paperwork and to find a carrier to pick up my vehicle will take 3 days to 3 weeks. I give them three weeks and a day and they finally send a carrier that was never told the vehicle was not drivable. I called Vroom and requested a carrier that pick up non-drivable cars.

The rep. presumably schedules one, then I get a call or email later the same day stating the pick-up had to be cancelled. Then I get a call from another rep. of the company that asks, is this vehicle drivable? Then they schedule one more time for a pick-up and if the carrier fails to do the job, they'll return the title. Which sounded about right because this process went on for two months when you count all the way back to the time I first got an offer from them.

Then include all that time waiting on a carrier. So instead of informing that they cancelled the pick-up and took the liberty of sending back the title anyway, not letting me know the status, I end up calling the carrier that said this pick-up was cancelled. This company literally ripped off my time, wasted my time while I could of had this car sold.

Told them from the jump that the car was not drivable and yet they presented themselves as having the wherewithal to do the job. So if your going to do business with them, take note of this account while dealing with them. Make sure they know everything about the vehicle and be sure they're capable of doing the job in the specific conditions that exist. I'm sure you can't get monetarily compensated for time wasted that could've been well spent accumulating funds with a business venture else where. It's like one hand didn't know what the other was doing with this company. Incompetent, unprofessional, poor communication with them and I say to you all , don't take any nasty attitudes from these people.
