First Union National Bank / Wachovia Corporation Mistreated and ripped off: The business that doesnt give a d**n National

My husband, who has worked all of his life, recently became disabled. We have had a difficult road, and he fights daily to recover from a devastating illness.
Of course, we suffered financially when this happened, and it became difficult to pay our bills.

We had two outstanding loans with First Union National Bank/Wachovia: One was a personal loan, and one is a second mortgage. We fell behind on the first loan, and although they did not hold title on our car, through there "clout" they were able to get the state of Florida to just "Put them on as the new title holder" Then they repossessed the car.

Of course, they sold the car: But said we owed them more money, including attorneys fees. We had begun filing Chapter 7 Bankruptcy, when much to our surprise, FU/Wachovia reached into our "Social Security Benefit" account, without benefit of a court ordered judgment and stole $1595.00 (SSD Benefits are protected, and are supposed to be assessed only by the IRS/Federal Government in order to collect a debt)

Their reasoning for reaching into an account supposedly protected from general indebtedness? It was because, as they say, their cashier "processed the deposit incorrectly, did not process it as checks, but processed it as 'cash,' so that means it is not protected"

We are still jumping through hoops to get this money back: which we desperately need to pay our mortgage so that we do not lose our house.

This Albatross Corporation thinks they are above every law in this country, and guess what, they get away with it: They also have no respect for decent moral law, as their "fellow man" is a slave to exploit, procured for use by their precious Money Master.

I know this, because I have many other unbelievable dealings with this mammoth den of materialism; and will post more later.

First Union/Wachovia would lie, steal, cheat, and sell their collective mothers if it made them one dime: They are users and abusers of people. It will be the sight of their own evil reflection which will bring an end to their corporate reign: Savor the thought!
