Sure do wish I'd known about this site before signing on the Wildblue dotted line! It's been 10 months of utter frustration. Never once has my download speed been faster than, max, 50kb/sec, - about 10kbs faster than my $9.95 a month dial up that I had to keep to fill in during Wildblue's down time - in spite of their promising 500+, and the little icon giving the connection speed of 100mgs. How to remedy that? Upgrade, of course, to the service that's $30 a month more expensive. Reckon that might increase my download speed to, what, maybe 70kb/sec?

DO NOT USE WILDBLUE! If you have no DSL or cable option, then stick with dial-up. What Wildblue charges isn't worth it.
