After struggling through phone call after phone call to try to restore service, then a fight to cancel it, Wildblue won't help me get the refund i was promised.

When you have your issues with this company, get ready to spend A LOT of time on the phone arguing with morons.

I finally had had it with their miserable service (cancelled service calls, making me set up appointments with installers who didn't give a hoot, etc) and hours and hours and hours of phone calls, I cancelled the service after they let me sit around for 6 hours without telling me nobody was coming.

I have been trying to get a simple cardboard box to send the modem back to them to try to get a $50 refund credited to my account. They already have hundreds of dollars from my paying for the equipment outright and for months of no service.

They sent the box via UPS, couldn't find my house, cancelled the order and didn't call (of course). I called 2 weeks later asking for a new box, and they sent another one to the same address (which i confirmed with UPS was correct). Nothing came again, so i requested they send to my alternate address which they said they were going to do (after speaking to a manager). Nothing arrives, no calls (of course). So i call again and request they send it to the rural address (after they refuse to send to my main address) and they say i need to take it up with UPS. I call UPS and they say they can't help because I don't have a tracking number. I call back Wildblue and they say they don't have a tracking number on file and it's up to me to figure it out.

I have never dealt with such a miserable company in my life. Never. It would be funny if it was happening to someone else.

They should be driven out of business. Go for HughesNet. They are fast and friendly and everything works. No drama.
