To add insult to injury this company sent me a bill out of the wild blue with interest and penalties 15 months after canceling service (canceled ASAP and upgraded to dial up). When I called to find out what was going on the woman was rude, uncooperative and downright snotty. This insult added to the injury of 12 months (and a leaky roof) of bad to non existent internet service was too much for me. Before I ordered this I told them it rained here, 9 months out of the year, they said, it only goes out during downpours, that was a big lie, anytime there was drizzle it was out, and it was NEVER as fast as advertised, just as slow as dialup. Since it was too slow to download I rarely did any, just trying to keep up with my very small internet business was a time consuming ordeal when the service did work. I had to buy dial up form another company just so I could manage the few orders I got. Stay away from this nightmare, it will never end. They lie, they cheat and they steal.

#1 UPDATE EX-employee responds
Commonplace..

Honestly, it's commonplace. I used to work for this company and it is pretty good service -- Considering it's installed right. Call them and demand for the installer to come out and repoint and peak as a no charge service call (Otherwise it's going to run you $75)
Also, find out what satellite you're on. The Anik F-2 is crap and is overloaded, no matter how much they may say otherwise. If a repoint and peak doesn't solve the issue, ask to be moved to Wildblue-1, it will require a new TRIA on the dish and they'll have to rebuild you account (Which believe me, they CAN do.) but it will be better in the long run.
Also, worse case scenario, ask for a field audit. That guy will list EVERY single problem with your dish and most times; fix it.
