he batteries. I purchased batteries from AllteI purchased 2 Nokia 6255i telephones in July from Wirefly online. I purchased the extended warranty because I was told it would replace the phone under any circumstances.
We received the phones, and within 2 weeks, noticed the phones would not hold a charge more than 12 hours, with normal or no usage. I called the wirefly number, and talked to a representative, who told me, after being repeatedly placed on hold for over a 2 hour period, that I should buy new batteries for the phone.
I asked for the phones to be replaced, since I was within my 30 day period, and was informed that the model I chose was no longer available. i asked for new batteries to be mailed to me, but was told I had to purchase them, they had no batteries available, but I would be sent an American Express gift card to pay for tl, but that did not solve the problem.
I took the phones to Alltel, and they determined I has faulty phones. They immediately refunded my money for the batteries, and suggested I contact Wirefly for replacement of the phones. To make a very long story shorter, I have called Wirefly numerous times, talked to over 6 people, been on hold no less than 1 hour each time, to no avail.
I still have faulty phones, and now they both turn odd randomly. We both work in critical care areas of hospitals, and cannot be without our phones. I have just gotten off the phone with Wirefly for the last time. They absolutely refuse to replace my two phones.
I have only the insurance to fall back on, but instead of being a total replacement without any additional charges, I have to box and send both phones at my expense to be repaired. This is unacceptable, as we cannot be without phones. I feel this company is the epitome of dishonest. The sales people misrepresent the products, and customer service is basically we don't give a flip, and hold, please.
I also have not received my $400.00 in rebates, and probably never will. Now I have phones that don't work, $400.00 in the hole, and a 2 year contract. Whatever you do...DO NOT use or buy anything from this company.
