Wizard Of Claws Knowingly sell sick puppies and misrepresent quality of their puppies Pembroke Pines Florida

If you are looking to purchase a puppy, DO NOT BUY from Wizard of Claws in Pembroke Pines, Florida. While they say they are a "kennel" "breeder" or "consultants" they are in fact a pet shop. Since they do most of their business over the internet, buyers never see the strip mall pet store where the puppies are kept.

They lie about the quality of the puppies, what their sizes will be as adults, any health defects they have and even where the puppies came from. They do NOT have "a special network of breeders", they buy from brokers, who buy from puppy mills. My "miniature or teacup pug" who was only to weigh 8-10 lbs, now weighs 24 (and is not overweight). I was told she came from a breeder in Illinois and was AKC registered. When her papers arrived 3 months later, she was ACA and came from a puppy mill in Nebraska. She was purchased through the Hunte Corporation, the largest puppy broker in the country.

Most of WOC puppies come from Missouri, even though they will lie about that too. They tell people what they want to hear so they can sell their puppies at enormous prices, but will not guarantee anything that is not required by law. However, I am a lucky owner, because although my dog is 3 times the size I was told she would be, she is alive. There is currently a class action lawsuit against them in Florida because so many of their puppies have died. Don't believe a word they say. If they say the puppy will be 4 lbs, it will probably be 14.


If you have been scammed by Wizard of Claws, please file a report with the Florida State Attorney General to conduct an investigation for consumer fraud and the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services and file a complaint. You can also file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, but that won't do much since they are a paying member and their complaint record (which was very long) was wiped clean when they wrote a check. You can also visit the No Puppy Mills dot com website and they will provide you with contact information for the attorney who is handling the class action lawsuit against them.
