Wondershare Wondershare deleted files from my computer and then wanted me to buy their file recovery program to restore them Internet

Warning about Wondershare - discovered they are a scammish company. I have been having numerous problems since I purchased their product in February 2015 and in communication with them. The worst disaster happened last night when I changed my video output folder in Wondershare settings to my folder that I use to store my videos. After that, I went to access my video folder and all my videos, over 4 months of daily recording and endless hours of editing) were deleted! Gone! Vanished! After doing some research online, I downloaded a file recovery program online advertised as free to recovery the files. I soon realized that the file recovery program was created by Wondershare and they wanted me to purchase the product in order to recover all my files. Tell me that's not a coincidence! Instead I found another free file recovery program that wasn't related to Wondershare, recovered the deleted files BUT all the paths are broken so my edits are corrupted. I do have the originals but I lost over 4 months worth of editing and final cuts.  Disaster!  I should have done my research on Wondershare first. I see many other complaints about Wondershare on this site. I write this to warn others of my experience. I'm beyond upset right now.
