World Voice Link...I am Definitely Another Frustrated Victim!

I couldn't believe it, I'm not alone! I was searching the web to put in a complaint about World Voice Link to the Public Utility Commission and decided to punch in World Voice Link to see what state they were located in. I knew I couln't be the only one being ripped off by this company!

When I read the other victim's complaints, I realized that they were doing all the same things to me.

It all started in July 2001 when I got the same phone call about the pager(which I also never recieved). I fell for their convincing speech also, but as soon as I hung up I decided to call them back and cancel the service. I couldn't get a live person on the phone for a whole week. By the time I got ahold of someone at World Voice Link, the guy (named Mike) told me that I wasn't even in the computer so he said that I shouldn't worry about it. So, I didn't worry.

Like many people, I was too busy to check my phone bill until January 2002. I couln't believe it when I saw the 19.95 charge from World Voice Link. I called them right away and they told me that they would cancel my service. Which of course they havent till this day. My husband called them this morning and they gave him the run-around again and told him that someone would get back to him. When he said he wanted a refund, they said "Sorry Sir, we already billed you for March." I really felt like choking that guys neck through the phone line...

When I first called in January they said that I agreed to the service on a recording, she said "Do you want to hear the recording?"

Please someone help me get rid of this World Voice Link RIP-0FFS and please help me get my money back from them which adds up to
$29.95 + $159.60 = $189.55.
