Upon receiving dozens of calls begging me to attend a so-called presentation, the telemarketer told me to call the travel dept at Worldmark to compare prices of air, car, hotels, or cruises with expedia or cheap tickets. claimed to have the best prices guaranteed. shd have said the HIGHEST prices are given to members. where is the benefit??

what a joke. the prices quoted were the highest, not to mention that online is much more efficient. the agent kept saying we are a full service agency, we don't discount. we don't discount.

when asked about credits, the agent said that a credit is only worth 4cents to use toward travel. consumer beware, note the # of rebuttals. this is similar to credits/points that are not worth anying!!

something is truly wrong!!

Credits / Points only worth 4 cents or less

AUTHOR: Pastrychef - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, December 26, 2008

Credits/Points are worth very little, only pennies.

The Travel Department makes no commission on travel services, so we are pushed to sell the highest price item, regardless of any concerns of the owner. Sell/sell/sell, #s are generated weekly as to who can scam the owners the most. Agents are reprimaned for low numbers, as we cannot convince owners that what we are quoting for cruises, etc is the lowest available. This is how Worldmark Travel Dept. is run, no concern for owners but a continued ripoff. Extremely poor management.
