XLIBRIS My client paid for a book publishing package and has not received it. Bloomington Indiana
*Consumer Comment: Time for a class action law suit
I am an editor and my client is an aged pensioner. He paid $US500.00 to Xlibris, to have his life story made into a book 'The Lost Years'. After multiple pleading emails and phone calls, four months have passed without Xlibris adhering to the computer signed agreement and contract. I have hit a brick wall and my client is very distressed. This smacks of dishonesty and thievery on the part of the publisher, but being 20,000 kilometres away in Western Australia, what can I do to either have the book published, as promised, or obtain a full refund of the pensioner's money.

Time for a class action law suit
AUTHOR: Unsatisfied consumer - (USA)

I have been trying to get a class action lawsuit against xlibris and it's mother company author solutions. The more people involved the better. This has got to stop! I have posted on other sites asking for interested parties to contact me. The response was certainly eye opening. This company reaches all around the world yet there are no publishing police to stop them.
It is important to know that xlibris is just 1 of many self publishing company's owned by author solutions. They use their own company's to vie for customers by using these different names. I've created a questionaire and petition for signatures to gather people who have been scammed by any of author solutions company's.
On the posting info I've checked off the notigy me option so that anyone interested please post so I may contact you.
