I have a 10 gallon aquarium With one small goldfish in it, I went to PetSmart on January 20, To purchase two more small goldfish first I went in there went to the back of the fish and there was A young girl working with pallets I asked her if I could get a couple goldfish and she asked me about my tank size and I told her and she said no she can’t sell many goldfish because the 10 gallon tank is not big enough. I even asked to purchase 2 feeder Fish and it would’ve saved their lives, but she refused to sell them to me at $.22 of fish first of all she didn’t want to help me in the first place because she was busy.
She was very rude and short with me she was a young inexperienced manager when I asked her for Corporate’s number she said we don’t have a number I insisted so she finally gave me a number, but it was for a customer Care line which I got a hold of A manager named Josh that was just as rude if not ruder Then her they’re very young and inexperienced, and do not know how to be professional I will never shop at Petsmart again They have poor management and poor customer service. It was not like that years ago and they are not looking out for their animals or she just sold me those feeder fish so they could have had a good life instead of been fed to another fish.

She was so busy unloading pallet. She didn’t wanna take the time to help me even if she is right she’s poor management and I would’ve bought a bigger tank but they lost my business completely. That’s not the PetSmart I remember she wasn’t even polite and nice and professional about her comments to me and she didn’t wanna give me a number for Corporate. She was too busy with her pallets And rude and young and inexperienced.

Goldfish are pond fish. They should most definitely not be kept in a 10 gallon tank, they are about 8 inches long fully grown, and live upwards of 20 years. Most goldfish that people buy don't survive long enough to grow beyond a juvenile size. You are definitely not doing the fish any favors by keeping them in a tiny 10 gallon tank.
