IF they fired you they would lose their government checks which I suspect they will ride that tired old horse until the checks stop coming at which time they will fire you and give you job references from hell so you won't be able to get another job in security again.

When I first went to work for them, I remember seeing a lot of welfare mothers in there and I asked what was up and one of the HR clerks told me that Allied was getting a check from the government to train these ladies for the Welfare to Workfare or some other social services feel good program that sound so good and do so little.
Well, as soon as those checks stopped, they had fired all of those ladies regardless how good they did but many of them saw the handwriting on the wall and were gone. I hope some of them joined the military because it is sort of like working in private security except you get a lot better compensation for being treated almost as bad.

I don't know why they hired me in the first place. There was another recession there too, in 1988 or I don't think I would have EVER worked for them and I was very sorry when I did.

Everybody in my family has worked for private security guard contracting companies at one time or the other.

IT'S ALL BAD!

YOU OUGHT TO REUP YOUR ENLISTMENT in the service because I can only guarantee you that each year you spend in private security guard work will be that much less where you could have used your GU Bill to learn something where you can make a decent living.

I talked about your letter with other members of my family and we all tended to agree that they must be getting government checks to retrain you guys for a civilian job... THEY LIKE TO FIRE PEOPLE TOO MUCH NOT TO HAVE FIRED YOU ALREADY SO YOU MUST BE GETTING SOME PROTECTION. POSSIBLY IN THE FORM OF A GOVERNMENT CHECK THAT THEY ARE PAYING THEM. I HOPE IT DOESN'T COUNT AGAINST YOUR GI BILL EDUCATIONAL BENEFITS WHICH I SUGGEST YOU USE ASAP!

I got fired at a job site in Oxnard, CA for following orders passed on to me by my co-worker from my Account Manager. We were told that we are supposed to watch over "The Bolt" wait for the employees to leave at 6PM (Holiday hours) and escort the manager to her car if possible, because she takes the money with her when she leaves the store. I did exactly that, and I was fired for it. Can you believe that? Security was my 2nd job when I got out of the Army in 2007. I quit my other job, because I had to take care of my aunt who had breast cancer. It happened Saturday and my account mngr. called me today (Monday) & said that i couldn't work at that site anymore. I was also told that I couldn't go to their premises, not even as a customer. My co-worker at a site called Jafra was fired from the site for protecting himself from getting stabbed by 3 people trying to steal cars in the parking lot. My co-worker got beat up, almost stabbed, and fired at Jafra without question. We are both Iraq War Veterans. I have zero tolerance for this kind of behavior, because my experience in the Army and having deployed in Iraq in 2005-06 causes me to have high standards for myself. My daily routine in the Army for 4 years was to receive orders and execute them, nothing more, nothing less. Unfortunately we still work at Allied Barton, because we are having problems getting employment in other places due to the current status of our economy.

You could be a five-star general and these people would have nothing but contempt for you as they did for me and all the people in my family who worked for them.

USE YOUR GI BILL AND GET SOME EDUCATION AND TRY TO MAKE A BETTER LIFE FOR YOURSELF.

RUN A SEARCH ENGINE ON THESE HORRIBLE PEOPLE AND YOU CAN SEE FOR YOURSELF WHAT THEY HAVE DONE TO OTHER PEOPLE.

MAKE SURE THAT THEY AREN'T GETTING A CHECK FROM THE GOVERNMENT TO RETRAIN YOU AND WASTING YOUR GI BILL BY TREATING YOU THIS WAY. THERE MUST HAVE BEEN A REASON WHY THEY JUST DIDN'T TERMINATE YOUR EMPLOYMENT ALTOGETHER. I THINK I WOULD CHECK WITH THE VETERANS AFFAIRS GUY IN THE COUNTY COURTHOUSE.

THEY SHOULDN'T BE TAKING MONEY FROM THE GOVERNMENT AND TREATING YOU GUYS SO BADLY.

USE YOUR GI BILL AND GET THE HELL OUT OF THERE WHILE YOU ARE STILL YOUNG EBNOUGH TO FIND A DECENT JOB!
