Ancestry.com ripoff took $139.80 from checking account Provo Utah
*Consumer Comment: Fight Back
Ancestry.com offered a trial membership and after the trial was up the cost was to be $24.96 a month I agreed to this .....BUT they took $139.80 out of my checking account not the $24.95 I agreed to. I called them and was told NO refunds. I took it to my bank and were not able to help, they did give me a new account number and card so they would not be able to hit my accouny again. I live month to month on a small disablity income and this made me late and other bills I had to pay.
Companys like this need to be stopped before they suck all our accounts dry or max out our credit cards.
