In 2018 I discontinued my annual ancestry membership, which had been billed every Feb. Much to my surprise, ancestry billed me for my full membership in Apr-18, to a credit card with a diff expiration date, even though I had never provided Ancestry with this information. This is FRAUD!
I complained to ancestry and they issued a partial credit of $224.55. I requested the remaining credit and ancestry states that they issued a credit for $74.85 in June, however no other credits have been issued to my mastercard for the April-Aug time frame. Ancestry states that they issued the remaining $74.85 credit to my credit card, but this is completely false. This has really put a sour taste in my mouth regarding ancestry's ethics and business practices and I no longer recommend the company to my family, friends or co-workers. Thank-You, Elizabeth Woodford
