We sent our Ipod in to be fixed, Digi Express installed a battery, and a main board. When we recieved the Ipod the post instructions said to charge Ipod fully and then run the Ipod till it fully discharged. After doing so, the Ipod would not turn on any more. Contacted Digi Express told them the problem, they said return the Ipod to be repaired again. After we sent the Ipod back, we recieved an email stating that there was physical damage to the Ipod and they were voiding the warranty. It would cost another $99.99 to replace the main board again. When we asked what was the physical damage was, they said that we had to of opened the Ipod up and tamper with the insides, breaking parts off. After explaining over and over again that we did not open the Ipod, we did not even know how to open the Ipod, Digi Express still would not honor the warranty. We asked if it was possible to have a faulty part? Is it possible that the technician made a mistake? Digi Express said it was impossible that the parts were faulty, and still would not honor the warranty, claiming that we intentionally tampered with the inside. Now really why would we do such a thing, after spending $177.71 in repairs????

This guy is just pissed that he couldn't pull a fast one on the company. You broke your board, just own up to it. They have ways of finding out what happened to the iPod. You are just mad that you had it fixed and broke it again.

I sent my Ipod to Digi Express to be repaired. They responded with a blank diagnosis and that was all. They have provided nothing about the repair we requested. Then they stopped all communication and do not respond to our phone or email communications.
So they stole our Ipod and will not talk to us.
I have informed them that I will file a complaint with the attorney general if they do not respond.
I hope no one else falls for this scam.

We repaired this customer's iPod and it worked perfectly for over 30 days (strait from the customer's mouth). Then they sent it back in and claimed 'it just stopped working', but after we inspected it, we found that the iPod had been opened by the customer and the battery connector was torn off of the main electronics board. Anyone in this business will verify that this can't just happen. Either the iPod must have suffered a very hard fall or it was opened by the customer, either way we would not be responsible for repairing damage caused by the customer.
We stand by our work and products, but no one covers physical damage. Since they had just purchased a main board, we offered a 40% discount to this customer plus free installation, which we believed to be generous but they refused.
In addition, they prove our point in their original report by saying that we 'recommend fully charging and playing the iPod until the battery dies' which is true. They did that for a month before sending it in, which shows that it was working fine. However, it wouldn't have charged or played at all in the condition we received it.
Unfortunately many of our customers rely on information given to them by their children about what actually happened to their iPod rather than professionals who work on them everyday.
We tried unsuccessfully to explain the situation to this customer, but they thought it better to yell over everything we were saying and not to listen.
While working with the public it is difficult to please everyone, but here at DigiExpress we make a honest effort to make sure the customer is happy with our service. We have had over 17,000 iPods come through our facility and have many satisfied customers. While being in the repair and customer service industry you are sure to run into some bumps along the way, but we always try our best to find a solution that works for the customer. I would like to add just some of the many comments made by other customers who sent their iPods in for repair.
My shattered ipod lcd is as good as new. I had a perfect experience with you. My ipod was returned in less than a week. I would strongly recommend you to anyone. Thank you for your excellent service.
