Digi Express acepted my ipod to be fixed, promised in 2 weeks, it has been 6 and I can't get ahold of them anymore. Arnold Pennsylvania

I sent in my son's Ipod and a check for $31.75 top have it fixed and received a confirmation on 4/20/09 that is would be.

After I called about 2 wks later, i got a call back and the girl explained that the part was not right that they had, needed to order correct part and that they would express ship it at the end of the week. That was about 3 wks ago and i have not heard anything since.

They don't answer the phone and the voice mail is usually full, they don't respond to email either. They have basically stolen my son's ipod and I don't know what else to do to get it back since they are in another state. They simply will not contact me or pick up the phone.

Please do not use this company, they will keep your product and there is no way of getting it back.

While working with the public it is difficult to please everyone, but here at DigiExpress we make a honest effort to make sure the customer is happy with our service. The part the customer needed was for the brand new 4th generation iPod nano. The click wheel that is needed to repair her iPod was not yet available on the market when the iPod was originally received at our facility. We asked here if she was willing to wait until the part became available for sale, to which she said she was. New iPod's parts are not available right away as companies do not start producing replacement parts until after at least 3 months. It does state on our website that if a part is not in stock, it may delay the order. The parts finally have become available to the market, but are sold out every time an order is placed. They are still not sold on any of our competitors sites. We had spoken with Jody several times about the iPod and reason for the delay and in no way meant to ignore her. We had been experiencing a sudden increase of business and were in the process of hiring and training new employees to accommodate, but had made every effort to get the iPod repaired and shipped out as soon as possible. We were not able to find the correct part, but offered to refund her money or install a battery a no cost since the iPod would still work to some degree. She accepted our offer to install the battery at no charge(almost equal value to the amount the refund would be) as it was also necessary for the iPod to work and we have shipped the iPod back to her. Here at DigiExpress, we have had over 17,000 iPods come through our facility and they are all satisfied customers. While being in the repair and customer service industry you are sure to run into some bumps along the way, but we always try our best to find a solution that works for the customer. I would like to add just some of the many comments made by other customers who sent their iPods in for repair.

My shattered ipod lcd is as good as new. I had a perfect experience with you. My ipod was returned in less than a week. I would strongly recommend you to anyone. Thank you for your excellent service.

THANKS! It work great. Thank you for being honest also. Apparently I over paid you, and you returned a check to me. You could have said that it was the amount that I sent in and I would not have been any wiser. This means a lot to me that I know that I am dealing with honest people. I will ALWAYS send on of our 6 (total for my family) iPods back to you if work needs done. Once again you will have all of my business, now and forever.

When I received my screen replacement kit, I soon realized I was way in over my head and decided it was best to return the screen and iPod for a professional installation. When I telephoned your offices to indicate that I wanted to send my iPod in, the young lady who answered the phone was extremely helpful and friendly.
