Empire Carpet Rip off and Don't back their product or installation Not great installers and don't stand behind their product! Long Island Nationwide

Empire carpet is a total ripoff and does not stand behind their product. Installation was done on a carpet in our home (might I add a berber which is supposedly the toughest one of all). The carpet itself came apart at the seams, called company and they stated it was out of warranty and I had to pay monies for them to just come and look at it to ascertain if it could be either replaced or fixed.

As we expected customer service gave a quick assessment over the phone stating that the carpet was not in stock anymore (berbers are you your most popular). Unfortunately, they could not help us and wanted to sell us another carpet. They demanded the actual date and when it was installed (didn't have it-life gets in the way and I don't save everything) so they were at the advantage in us not having the receipt.

They utilize strong telephone tactics in beating you down over the phone with all types of excuses!

Please BEWARE of their practices and tactics!

Should of went to a larger organization which has always backed up or had a remedy for a problem relating to home improvement projects!

I'll take this one on the chin and chalk up this expereince and will make sure I tell everyone about their practices!
