Garage Door Service Company Garage Door Services Company earns an "F" in Customer/Warranty Service San Diego, California

I would give Garage Door Services Company a zero on a scale of 1 - 10 if that was available. Somewhere along the way this company formed the philosophy that customer service should only be provided if they can make additional money from it.

My post is not much different than the others all over the Internet about this company. They sell top of the line equipment with a supposedly Lifetime Warranty and then if it fails they come out, charge you for the service call and sell you something not covered.  When that doesnt fix the issue they want to sell you something else. If you dont play the game, you are stuck having paid a lot of money and still having a broken garage door, which is what happened to me.

In my case, all of this happened to me too, but on the later re- repair to fix what wasnt fixed on their first paid visit, they also stood me up on three different scheduled appointments while I had to sit at home for required three hours time window. My time lost is worth more than the extra repairs they wanted to sell me.

If I had to sum it up with one thought I would say Garage Door Service Co. doesn't understand the simple truth that customers are the lifeblood of any company survival, and that this isn't a two way street with the company being the lifeblood of the customers.

Instead of wasting any more time waiting on them to not show again, I have decided to pay another company to fix this and instead spend a little trying to help other people avoid the pitfall of doing business with these guys in the first place.
