Garage Door Service Company installed wrong product and almost killed my 6 year old daughter by garage slamming down Jacksonville Beach Florida

I had garage door services replace my springs on my garage door 6 months ago. my wife came home yesterday and opened the garage door as my 6 year old daughter got out of the vehicle. My daughter walked around the back of my wifes vehicle and the garage door came slamming down.

I read my initial invoice and it clearly stated that it would take up to 72 hours for warranty work to be done. i have over 10,000.00 dollars in my garage and was unable to leave it unobtained due to the fact that garage door services install of springs faulted another part of garage door that would allow anyone to open whether door was engaged or not.

I chose to have another company come out to repair that could do it right at that moment, so i would not have anyone harmed or anything ripped off. They told me the springs were not the right ones and that had caused the other part to strip out and fall down.

I called garage door service company and the gentlemen i spoke to was very rude and told me that since i had someone else do the work i voided my warranty.

Garage door service company is cleary a crook and looking for any loop holes to find in their contract to keep from being held liable for almost killing my daughter.
