Buyer Beware! From my experience today: This is a bad business that is not reputable. Nice young guy came out and told me that he as well as all of the field technicians are now independent agents for this company. The CSR on the phone in the call center in TX should have informed us of this -- number one. We were told by the CSR that for a field technician to come out it would be about $50.00 or so but because we had our automatic garage door opener installed by them originally (back in 2006) they would give us  a discount so that it would only cost us $39.95. When the field technician came out he told me that we required to pay the service fee which was just for him to show up and that the work would be entirely extra. Mistake by the CSR number two: This was never explained to us over the the phone as it should have been before the technician even showed up to our home. When I told the technician that we would not agree to the high priced estimate to have the work done (which he could not tell us what needed to be fixed or not until we paid the $39.95 visit fee anyway) this wouldn't help us -- talk about a rip off! 

Anyway, the technician called the CSR/Dispatcher to explain my displeasure and that we had not agreed verbally or in writing to pay for the service visit fee. He them gave the phone to me and I spoke with the CSR/Dispatcher from the call center in TX somewhere. This guy tried to intimidate me into paying the fee and tried to wheel and deal me into paying for the work etc) I was not intimated as I am an experienced CSR myself and I know how to deal with this kind of un-professionalism and discourtesy.
He played the call back for me with very poor sound fidelity saying that I could hear where we had agreed to the fee. I never heard this in the recording -- saying that we agreed to anything. I told him this as well and that he kept interrupting so that I couldn't even hear the playback of the call properly: mistake number three. I told him that he was giving me the worst customer service that I had encounter in a long time and that I wanted the call escalated to a supervisor which he would not do: mistake number four. I then asked if he was the business owner -- he would not answer. Mistake number five. He was talking over me and being rude, not helpful and discourteous, to put it nicely. I told him that I would let my displeasure be know on the many consumer review sites like Yelp etc... As well as contact my State Attorney General's office -- (the consumer fraud division) -- which I will do. The CSR/Dispatcher then proceeded to yell at me and told me to go ahead, he didn't care.

Well, the company's owner should care because this cretin is gonna cost him or her their business! Anyway, the technician was a nice chap who tried to be helpful but the CSR/Dispatcher lost the sale and a good customer: Mistake number six (big time!). I don't blame the technician who, he told me, is leaving this crummy company and starting his own business. Good for him: I'll do business with him but not these losers and nor should you! (Note: The technician told me that the call centers in TX and CA get nothing but complaints from customers calling in) Hey, Mr. or Ms. Business owner Wake Up!
