Great Atlantic Warranty deals with insurance companies and sells their warranties. They range from a lower rate up to a large rate. The lower rate warranties claims are never paid out. The repair shops cannot get in contact with these insurance companies and eventually charge their customer, who is holding the bag with a warranty that is no good. These lower rate warranties come with three items, when you open them and use them you have basicly voided your ability to cancel the warranty. The owner of the insurance company lives in the Cayman Islands. The owner of Great Atlantic Warranty is only known by the name of Mike Z. None of the employees know his real name. When employees ask what his full name is, they are told that information cannot be divuldged. Someone needs to investigate this company soon. Preferably the media so they can be exposed nationally. Any company that will not give the owners name to the employes(so they know who they are working for), sounds like a scam to me. Now if you by the high rate warranty you have a better chance of getting a claim paid out. There are several catches to getting a claim paid. And for the most part, most everyone who buys the warranty from this company will not get any claims paid out. The attorney General of 18 states have already ban this company from soliciting the residents. Think before you buy from them. And I hope one day and higher official will shut them down. But don't worry, if they do get shut down, you can rest assure that "Mike Z." will start up another company to rip off the public. I am not an employee, employer, nor have I bought from this comapny. I have received this information from a former employee who couldn't bear ripping people off anymore, so they quit and got a new job. I remain anonymous for personal reason, and very good ones at that. Who is Mike Z?????
